Summary

The proprietors desire that you will not lose sight of Hill Wharf at Lechlade although they think the money marked for it far beyond its value. You will endeavour to learn in what manner it is to be sold, whether by public auction or private contract. The wharf is certainly desirable for the Company of being the only certain one at Lechlade. They do not seem inclined to bid £1000.
