Wed 20 Nov 1811
From Harry Harford
To J R Denyer
Brimscombe Port
The weekly papers were not delivered until 5 o’clck last night. The Stroud Mail not bringing the letters to London is very late in its arrival (11 o’ clock), too late for what the coach masters call their first delivery.
Mr Hipsley notes that the Wilts & Berks are underselling him on Tenby Coal at Longcot Wharf, their charges being 53s a ton ours about 57s or 3s 2d a barrel.
