To James Perry
Wolverhampton

Summary

A deed is ready to be sent as soon as I have heard from you re Mr Gough. An arrangement will be made by a special messenger to obtain the signatures of Mr Horton, Sir John Heathcote etc. Most of the parties have signed the Deed of Agreement. I shall add your and your brother’s names to the list of Proprietors calling for a Special General Meeting. I have written to Sir E Littleton on the subject. Mr Bate, Mrs Bradley, Mr Joseph Sills, Mr Jonathan Sills & their partner Mr Pidgeon still decline signing. Mr E P Sills is not a Proprietor.
I offered 50 per cent to Mrs Bradley for her £3000 mortgage but have not yet had an answer.
Mr Petit has promised to attend on Tuesday.
