Engine man could not be at Thames Head before Monday. Bramble or another person could put a fire under the filled boilers to get water in condition for going to work.
Letting vessels by at places under repair. Draw on summit level to reinstate water drawn off for mudding, repairing, etc ponds out at Chalford, Valley Lock to Chapel Lock.
