Subscriptions towards protection of property in neighbourhood will be used if needed and any balance returned when protection provided by Government. Please advise what action I should take. Since my letter of 22 November, two premises attacked, one by removing part of the house wall, whence every portable article was removed, both may be seen from windows of my house. In two other instances, houses not only plundered but attempted to be fired.
