I now send timber for stable with 300 New Duchess Slates. The old slates, off Kempsford House, not sufficiently good. Front wall should be high enough to give same slope to the roof as the warehouse. 3 Lintels, Wall plate and 2 pieces to go against wall for nailing rafters to, 2 side pieces, 13 rafters, 25 laths. Door with rack and manger to follow.
Mason & Co will be accommodated with credit but pay ready money with each boat.
2000 tons of coal required down the river before Christmas.
