Mon 24 Oct 1836
From John R Denyer
To W P Richards
8 Wellington Street, Strand

Summary

Charge for coal to the Engine. Services for supply of water not needed earlier in season. Performed more work and been of more essential service than during whole of previous existence. Diminished charge for repairs.
Contingency Fund will be reported to the next General Meeting.
My reference to Ingrain, drawbacks etc in former letter with details.
Doubts about raising tonnage on coal at Radcot and above Eynsham Bridge. Tonnage should continue as it now stands to Radcot and raised to same rate to Oxford. Giving 2 months notice will avoid exposure to fraud.
