Fri 13 May 1836
From John R Denyer
To Mr Dunsford
Canal Office, Swindon, Wilts.

Summary

Reduction of tonnage on wrought and cast iron passing line of T&S Canal from Wallbridge to Latton, delivered anywhere on Kennet & Avon Canal from 3/6½ to 2/- per ton. Along with W&B reduction, this will enable Hiskins to carry iron for the bridge mentioned in letter from C Twine delivered on 19th.
On which day do you intend to close the W&B Canal for repairs? We must spend a month reinstating some parts of the roof of the Tunnel.
