Luke here this morning. Affected by liquor? I could understand only that we did not have timber to make Centers. Wrote off to Bristol for some to come by first vessel but will not arrive before Wednesday or Thursday next week. Dimensions of scantlings must be sent here. Luke to make them here. Good larch poles in Hayley Wood fit for making Bearers. Lighter and better than beech. Lops will make hand rails. Things for repair of capstan, etc. at the Engine forwarded yesterday.
