From John R Denyer
To Thomas Perry
Wolverhampton

Summary

There appears every reason to suppose the Thames & Isis Steam Boat scheme will be carried into effect, doubtless proving to be beneficial to the Thames & Severn Canal (subject to the Inland Duty on coal being abandoned). Particularly for carrying nublins suitable for steam engines.
Further repairs proposed to be done to the summit level and to several lock gates.
