T&S Canal have acceded to the proposal to the reduction of tonnage upon fire bricks.
Resolved: That a drawback of tonnage be allowed upon all Fire Bricks, Burrs & Square passing the line of this canal into the Wilts & Berks Canal and not returning into the North Wilts Branch thereof or paying the whole line of this Canal into the River Thames, so as to reduce the whole tonnage payable to 2s 6d per ton.
