To Statement/report to the Committee of the T&S Canal
Re annual survey not having been made over the past summer but considerable repairs having been done:-
1) Buildings:- Inglesham Bridge entirely and substantially rebuilt with stone.
Fire engine – a new cold water cistern erected replacing a decayed wooden one.
2) Locks:- 5 pairs of new lower gates erected.
3 pairs of new upper gates erected.
4 pairs of lower gates prepared for thorough repair.
Associated masonry and other work .
3) Summit:- 1029 linear yards of puddling taken and replaced – Cirencester Branch.
2187½ yards between Siddington and Coatesfield end of the Tunnel.
54½ yards of the bottom between Bridge XXIX and Coxes Valley.
Wall repairs in Tunnel.
