Certificate of Registry of Mr Wallhouse’s will to hand. By his death, one of the lives by which the Company hold Sapperton Mill under Earl Bathurst ceases. Lease expires at Michaelmas 1823 under certain conditions of repairs at £4 but I considered about 20 or 25 guineas. Lord Bathurst charged £40 for adding the last life - mill stream for supply of the summit level re bad state of the reservoir.
Mr Miller’s debt to the Company will, including the £124.0.0 in your hands, amount to about £500. I executed the Committee’s instructions and thereby saved a considerable sum being added to that amount. It is said he has given bills to the extent of £9000.
