Summary

Mr McIntosh had heard from Mr Lane that the second application to the Exch Loan Commission had failed, thus how the expenses of repairing the lock gates are to be charged.
£10,000 applied for included £2,000 for such repairs for works to be done by the Company’s carpenters in the ordinary way.
Many of Mr MacIntosh’s men employed in repairing the Summit level have left in consequence of not having sufficient wages.
Mention of an application to Parliament for making a Rail Road. If successful would seriously affect interests of FoD, Stroud and T&S and upper parts of the River Thames in connection with the Forest coals.
