London
Mr Lane sent me particulars of Mr McIntosh’s estimate.
Quantities of oak to be paid for by draft at 2 months when measured. This enabled me to order Pitt & Co to transfer £200 to you.
Will repairs about to be done to the Bell Lock, which will amount to between £150 to £200, be considered as “extraordinary” and is the sum to be borrowed subject to the expenses of such repair, or ordinary repairs of the canal, chargeable to the half yearly account.
