From John R Denyer
To J S Salt
London

Summary

Mention again of Churn millers demand for water taken for the use of the canal.
Several boats with Forest of Dean coals for Mr Protheroe’s new wharf at Oxford have left here with many more due this week. Oxford Canal Co are much alarmed and are expected to object.
I anticipate the coal trade with Wilts & Berks Canal will increase soon.
Alterations at Daneway are proceeding as fast as season permits.
