Summary

Late unpleasant weather has stopped the navigation of the canal and connecting rivers. Stock of coal at various wharfs exceed that of previous year. But, scarcity of water.
Mr Protheroe’s intended opening of new wharf at Oxford delayed because of heavy frost.
Able to conclude a contract with Morgan to build an arch over the brook at Daneway resulting in effective ponds at a good price.
Claims of the Churn Millers for payment fast approaching.
