I have been fully employed in making and erecting a pair of lower lock gates for Bowbridge Lock, severely damaged by a boat then by water pressure. Canal partially stopped for three weeks.
Discussion with Mr McIntosh re possible enlargement of the ponds at Daneway – arching over the brook course about 100 linear yards might cost £400 to do it properly.
